Avon, Indiana edge Enoch Atewogbola committed to the Gophers Saturday, growing their 2025 class to six verbal commitments. Listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds he chose Minnesota over other top offers from Boston College, Marshall and Western Michigan.
Who is Enoch Atewogbola?
Atewogbola currently attends Avon High School, one of the biggest public schools in the Indianapolis metro area. He is a very talented two-sports athlete, also starring on the hardwood in the offseason. Following his junior season of football, he earned his first FBS offer from Marshall on January 17, then Northern Illinois in February, the Gophers were his third offer on April 24, then Boston College and Western Michigan followed on the same day. He committed to Minnesota three days after his official offer and he will visit the school on June 8, during their annual “Summer Splash” event.
Listed at 6-foot-4, 215, Atewogbola is a very raw pass rusher with tremendous potential. He still has a ways to go when it comes to developing pure pass-rushing moves, but his length and athleticism are something you cannot teach. It might not happen early in his career, but DL coach Winston DeLattiboudere III.
